English oak dining table with asymmetric frame in charred Ash. This table is made from Locally grown English Oak from Dorrington, Shropshire complimented with a black resin joining piece and bowtie detailing. Mounted on a charred Ash frame. Measuring 2.1m by 1m that's 7' x 3' in old money. Its approx 38mm thick. The waney edges have been kept, giving a nice feel to the piece countered by the clean lines of the under frame. The honey coloured oak sits well against the dark legs. Our trademark ammonite has been incorporated, this times using a genuine ammonite fossil, polished and set into the top in one corner.

The table has been a display piece in our own home for clients to come and see. It will be completely re-oiled and polished before delivery/collection. An oiled finish means the top is very water and stain proof and also remarkably heat resistant. That said we'd never recommend something straight from the oven or hob be placed directly on the top. An oiled finish can also be spot repaired unlike a lacquer or varnish finish should the worst happen. As the years roll by, with the occasional polish it will just look better and better.

This is a great opportunity to buy a truly bespoke piece of furniture which would be far higher priced if made to order. I can deliver in a 30 mile radius free of charge please contact for further afield or we can arrange couriers or you can collect.

Unfortunately our website may behaive a bit strangley with cost of postage settings on checkout. Please get in contact if this happens, it should be sorted out soon.
